The Third Reich pounds
upon our wall of ash—
Hitler’s youth stand Vorder und Mitte;
grenade in one hand,
in the other our cyanide pills—

Supply the arms whilst I supply passion.
Eyes are all that stand between us
…and the city of a lesser god.

The Reich races on,
four rows deep and five wide.
A knife,
ambling in search of the condemned.

I stand before thee a mouse,
in the face of a thousand snares.

To each his own,
for god only helps those who help themselves.

Fuck all…
I’ll give you a road less traveled, barricaded.

Just one of the end results of my latest mini-project. I used a 200-watt work light and my speedlite for lighting and a piece of carton with thumbtacks to hold up the cigarettes.

beeyatch, i swear I have lung cancer now... inhaling 20 unfiltered cigarettes owns the lungs....

at first i wasnt too convinced about this project but it ended in great results and im happy you got it the way you wanted...

Its a unique result, and can be interpreted in many ways. At first, the cigarettes look like the burned out towers of a ruined city. Then they look almost like the fingers of the dead reaching forth from the grave to clutch at the living. Finally, its a reminder of how many die in life every day...this is a :+fav: for the uniqueness and the complexity. Damned good job
